“If There Is No Enemy Within, The Enemy Outside Can Do Us No Harm“

People tend to hyperfocus on the external demons outside of themselves. Allowing their energy to be swayed by people or forces they literally have no control over. They never realize that the ones that exist within them are where their true problems lie. If you have nothing within you that is attaching you to said demons outside of you, then the ones that exist amongst you and beyond you have no power over you. Nothing is connecting you to it. Not only does it no longer align with you, but it has no direct effect on you. Turn your focus inward, and everything that is opposing you outward becomes figments of the past.

This is another quote that has been a staple for me in my journey and one that I will live by for the rest of this lifetime. It has and continues to keep me responsible and accountable for my own healing, especially the more intense parts of it. Hard pills have to be swallowed, and loud truths have to be accepted, but ultimately, knowing that the process is allowing you to fully see yourself. And that’s one of the most important things to ever gift to oneself.

A daily affirmation I use that I feel pairs well with this quote :
“The Power That I Hold Within Me Is Greater Than Any Force That Can Ever Act Against Me.”
I normally repeat this affirmation five times to embody the reassurance that it gives me.
