They never stop …
I don’t think they ever get tired either.
I keep finding myself here,
Attempting to keep up.
But at some point realizing I can’t.
Well once I’ve done exhausted everything …
And tried a dozen more times.
In my defense,
This only really applies to the runners that somehow capture my heart the first time around the track.
The run the first time around is merely thrilling.
I have a bad tendency of allowing the thrill to have its way…
Never really paying attention to the fact that there is nothing different about the “run”.
Runners are what they are … Runners.
No matter how much the appearance may vary …
They will always run.
No stability. No compromise. No direction.No compassion.
No need to invest nor commit…
To a Runner.
